I am in love. I am obsessed. I want to knit socks constantly and the only thing stopping me is that little thing called time and that other thing called sock yarn budgeting. (I did finish two pairs in the last week though!!) This love of knitting socks pleases me because the whole reason I wanted to learn to knit was so that I could knit myself stockings and knee socks. As soon as I find good basic patterns and extravagant--on sale!!--sock yarn I love I'll be trying those too. Meanwhile,

And so is that gorgeous red that I saw tonight at my local yarn store while at my knitting group. I resisted buying it tonight. There were only two skeins left; if it's there next week it's coming home with me.
