My friend, Cathy, makes beautiful jewelry and I thought I'd share some of it with you seeing as how today she is doing a giveaway on her blog. All you need to do to enter is leave her a comment and you can win a sterling silver open heart pendant with a cute little moonstone in the center.
This little pendant is very special because it represents the very first thing Cathy ever made with silver wire and she would like it to find a home. And if you are thinking 'Wow! That's the first thing she's made with wire?!' you should see what she can do now. Unfortunately the only jewelry using silver wire that she made and is near at hand is not being photographed because of the state of its owner's hair at 6 am-ish in the morning. But here a few of her other pieces she has done:
This a bracelet made of carnelian and sandstone. The clasp is sterling silver with gold accents.
Look at the clasp on this necklace! Cathy almost always has small 'extra' details on the pieces she makes that I really enjoy. This necklace is made of aventurine rounds, copper plate beads and a hand coiled copper pendant.
Here is another bracelet but this one is made of peridot coins and sterling silver cubes. The toggle clasp is simple enough that you can put it on one handed quite easily and is also made of sterling silver.
These are just a few of my favorite pieces that she has listed at her shop. There are many other pieces there and she uses many different and unique stones in her work. So drop by her blog to enter her giveaway for the free pendant and then do a little shopping at her shop, Intentional Stones!
