I brought my own cookies to the bookstore to have with my coffee. I admit--I'm weird! But I couldn't help it. These little ring shaped Italian cookies have a vanilla scent, are just a wee bit dry and perfect for dipping and having a light citrus taste. They are light and tasty and so much better than a cookie that is as big as dinner plate and as tasteless as cardboard that they sell at the cafe in Barnes & Noble.
Bringing your own cookies to the cafe. It's sort of like sneaking in candy to the movie theatre when you are a teenager. Right? Right?
