The other night I happened to catch one of those shows where the host goes to various restaurants and diners in small town America. Rick was kind of skeptical as to why one would watch this type of show but after a few minutes he was hooked too. We needed to eat at the Iron Barley and have Tom Coghill cook us something. Two days later and we are still talking about finding this restaurant.
Unfortunately, it's in St. Louis. Just a bit of a drive for dinner. =(
We began to talk about about what if one of these shows came to Pittsburgh? Where would they go? It led to quite the lively discussion of where the best places in town to go would be.
Get this. One of these shows did come to Pittsburgh!!!
And it's airing tonight! At 10 pm on the Travel channel. Watch it with me--I bet they pick Primanti's because everyone associates that place with us.
