Today was the very first day for our CSA! I've been excited about this day for the last couple of weeks and finally it came. Pick up was even easier than I thought it would be. Note the blackberry jam and clover honey!
Tomorrow's lunch will feature these spring greens with some chicken. Yum!!
Spinach halved is pain halved. My mother-in-law will get half of this tomorrow. My kids would revolt if I made them eat this. I'm going to 'sneak' it in. Wish me luck.
I'm so used to seeing grocery store asparagus it's quite a 'shock' to see asparagus with tidy 'hairdos.'
A wee bundle of baby carrots. I barely got these washed before I was munching on one.
Oh, dear sweet farm how did you ever guess the perfect cheese to put in my basket that will keep my little mice out of it?? I love Pepper Jack! This is from a farm close to ours that has been producing dairy products since 1867! They make their cheese from raw milk that comes from grass-fed cows.
