Don't let this picture fool you. The time spent sewing was fraught with frustration: lost needles, stopping my project a million times to help thread needles and/or tie knots, break up fights over the minuscule amount of stuffing that was found, calm Tristyn down after Maia cut apart something he had just sewn---all of this PLUS the usual annoyance with my machine (tension suddenly going slack, things randomly becoming under un-threaded, mysterious loopys on the back of stuff). =S
However, the three of us made it through. Tristyn started a new thing, Maia got hers halfway done and I got a pair of jammie pants for Maia.
It's hard to see them here but they are soft pink flannel with flowers and butterflies on them. I'll have to pull out the real camera to get a good picture of them. They are a little long because I intend them to last until spring but also because I anticipate them to shrink a bit when they are washed.
Tristyn wants me to make a pair for him too. He says he wants worms and mice on his pair. I hope he doesn't mean on the same pair because I think it will be a little difficult to both worms AND mice on the same print fabric.
