After a might struggle with my sewing machine i managed the above pants. They were intended to be play pants for gym days at school...but....whoever draws up the patterns for Buttericks must think that children who wear about a size 6 also wear diapers...very large diapers and then they size the crotch allowance (technical term?) to fit this gigantic sized diaper. Or...they attribute more skill than they should to the people who chose a pattern that says 'Very easy and quick' and think that we are able to correct any odd sizing issues all on our own.
Please disregard my funky foot and Persephone's hand in the picture. Those things could be entitled Picture Taking Mishaps #563 and #564. =(
On a 'positive' note..the orange socks really do make the outfit!
