Because
baking is always more fun that cleaning.....i took a break from the
laundry and other dull things like that and made a small batch of
cupcakes for dessert tonight. the cupcake is vanilla flavored with a
not-so-very-sweet vanilla icing on top. i deliberately kept the icing
not very sweet (it's made with powdered sugar, vanilla, butter and
yogurt) because the coconut sprinkled on top is the sweetened kind.

also found the greatest cupcake keeper ever. it has a piece inside of
it that holds 12 cupcakes or if you flip it 24 mini-cupcakes in place.
the lid is high enough that you can decorate to your heart's content
without worrying about smashing your little cakes. also, as a bonus,
the cupcake holder piece is removable and you can store a 9x13 cake in
it too. finally a very nice handle completes the keeper. i'm very
happy with it. =)
that
pitiful pile of sticks you can see in the plant pot behind the keeper
is what remains of my jasmine plant. it has no leaves (thank you
eddie) but i'm pretty sure it's still wick.
at least i hope it is. i'm going to give it a little more time to see if it can recover before i pitch it.
