i
have the baby grass...or at least the beginnings of a few tender
blades. you have to look very very closely as it's still more in the
green haze stage.

kids
and i met missy at BK for lunch today. they have spongebob toys and
the kids were really itching to get one. it's not that often that i
take them to a fast food place so i readily agreed to take them. they
did choose strawberry applesauce over french fries so no harm done in a
few chicken nuggets.
otherwise,
so far it's been a lazy day. tristyn may or may not have a piano
lesson at 4:30. his teacher called a little while ago but didn't tell
me why and just asked me to call him back. i did and he didn't answer
so now we are playing phone tag. hopefully he calls soon because i
need to leave a little after 4 to get there on time in case he wasn't
calling to cancel.
did
a few loads of laundry, read, played on the net. it's the first day of
spring break for the kids and they have been busily playing away the
day. the most i saw them today was at lunch. i offered to do something
with them and tristyn just stared at me blankly. maia said bike
riding? and when i told her it was snowing (okay, flurrying) and rather
too cold to do so she ran off to find something to do without me.
i'm
trying very, very hard to continue with my relatively lazy day. rick
thinks i need a day where i'm not doing much of anything, so i'm trying
my best to listen to him. a couple loads of laundry and loading the
dishwasher doesn't count.
everyone
on my friends list who hasn't done a real update today should do so.
doesn't matter to me if you think your day was boring, dull, etc. just
post and give me something to read!
random
thought of the post: why am i the only one in the house that
apparently is qualified to replace the toilet paper on the roll?
